The two islands of Trinidad and Tobago are the most southerly of the Winward islands just off the coast of Venezuela.

Trinidad has a large Asian community. The open discussion of racial issues between Asian Trinidadians and Afro-Trinidadians has done much to settle ethnic tensions recently.

In the past political parties have been driven by ethnic conflicts - pray that the government would be fair for all Muslims, Hindus and Christians.

There is little cooperation between churches - alongside more traditional churches there is a growing number of Black-led or Indian charismatic churches. Pray that these churches would develop a national vision and purpose within their commiunites.
